Returns

 

Finding the right size swim suit can be difficult. At Modestly Active we appreciate that ladies come in many shapes and sizes, so if you order a suit and it is not the right fit for you, you have 21 days in which to return it to us.

How do I return goods?

Please call Modestly Active Customer Services department on 0845 052 4686 or if bought from any of the approved stockiest to obtain a returns number. Goods will not be accepted without this. Thereafter, goods should be returned via an insured, traceable service to reach us (it is advisable to make a note of any tracking numbers in case they are required).

Tags must not be removed from garments and that all labels and original packaging must be present and the product in the condition you would expect to receive an 'as new product', for us to be able to refund the returned items.

Please ensure that a copy of your invoice enclosed with your order is returned with your parcel along with your returns number written clearly on the outer packaging.

Please make sure goods are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. Price slide items are not returnable unless they are faulty.

Refund/ Exchange Policies

Please read carefully before returning your item, as we expect all returned merchandise to be in pristine saleable condition.

A full refund (excluding postage costs) or an exchange will be issued for merchandise returned if:

  • Products are unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unmarked, do not smell of smoke, have all original tags and hygiene strips attached, and are in their original condition. Any product returned that does not meet these criteria will be shipped back to the customer.
  • Products are received within 28 days of the date your order was placed. No returns will be accepted after 21 days from date of order (UK and International). Any product received after this date will be shipped back to the customer.

We will endeavour to process your request as quickly as possible. Returns requiring an exchange or refund may take up to 10 working days to be received and processed through our system.

An exchange will be placed as a new order and an e-mail will be sent when the order is shipped. Exchange orders will receive free First Class Recorded shipping back to the customer.

An e-mail confirmation of a refund will be sent to you. Credit card refunds may take a few additional days to be processed by your card issuer. Cheque refunds will be issued for all orders paid for by cheque.

Returned products are the responsibility of the customer until they arrive back with Modestly Active. We recommend obtaining proof of posting or postal insurance when mailing returned products back.
